Assignment 6: Economic Potential of Service-Oriented Architecture

Read “Understanding the Economic Potential of Service-Oriented Architecture” (Harvard Business Review) available at the Strayer University online library. Then, write a two to three (2–3) page paper in response to these questions:

    1. Discuss the issues presented in this case.
    2. Explain how capacity planning is tied to the economic potential of EA-SOA, the author’s propositions in this study, and whether you agree with them and why. 
    3. Discuss what implementation strategy you would recommend to a midsized organization based on the author’s work.


The format of the paper is to be as follows:
o   Typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman font (size 12), one-inch margins on all sides (APA format).
o   Use headers for each of the subjects being covered, followed by your response.
o   In addition to the two to three (2–3) pages required, a title page is to be included. The title page is to contain the title of the assignment, your name, the instructor’s name, the course title, and the date.
